Rusty's absence, day three, here are my blessings:
1) Talked with Rusty on the phone (only briefly, but long enough to find out that he is doing well, despite the heat)
2) Energy to work out on my own, followed by a picnic at the red park/splash park. Eleanor was quite compliant on my feeding demands.
3) A loving sister-in-Christ that came to watch the children for me while I went to a doctor's appointment (which was a last minute request since our decision for Rusty to go to camp was a last minute decision)
4) CHURCH!! (HALLELUJAH!!)
5) Juice slushy from Sonic (because Samuel helped mommy by feeding Eleanor while I got ready for my doctor's appointment
I also found out that Rusty will be back on Friday and not Saturday. I am so excited!!!

Blessings Day Two
Here are the blessings from day two of Rusty being gone:
1) Kept warm by Samuel (once again)
2) Being able to practice yoga with Eleanor - there is a free yoga class at the "red park" on Tuesdays. So the boys get to play with friends and mommy gets to do yoga. Well, today, Eleanor decided to stay awake on the drive to red park, so she laid beside me on the yoga mat, and in typical newborn fashion, flailed her arms and legs while mommy did yoga.
3) Picnic at the red park/splash park
4) Juice-slushy from Sonic
5) Children nap time coinciding. This meant that Asher took a 2 1/2 hour nap instead of his 1 1/2 hour nap, but the quiet time was definitely worth it!
6) Getting caught up on laundry...tell me how it is that while Rusty is gone I can get caught up on laundry (some of which has been waiting to be put away since before our 2 week "Texas tour."
The blessings keep flowing down (I think I may get to clean-up from tornado Andy Kristopher again...)

Day 1 blessings
So here is a list of blessings I received today:
1) Samuel kept Eleanor and I warm all night long by sleeping with me in my bed (I am not sure how he kept Eleanor warm because she sleeps next to our bed). At least that is what he said.
2) Having a picnic and playing until Asher dropped at the "red park/splash park."
3) Playing astronaut with Samuel and Andy - which we had to cut short so I could bathe Asher so we could go to the post office before it closed.
4) And cleaning up Samuel's room after the tornado (aka Andy Kristopher) hit it.
All in all, today was a very blessed day for mommy and children. Rusty called and said he was having fun at church camp.

The Kitchen Sink
Mrs. House Spouse again. I have a very special story to share from our travels while Rusty has been looking for a job. We went on a 13-day road trip - which in itself is a long time to be away from home. So imagine the amount of luggage we packed for a family of six. It always seems that you take EVERYTHING with you when you are gone a long time, right? Well, I think Samuel put it best when he said, "we forgot to pack the sink. Next time, we need to make sure not to forget it."
See what had happened was that Samuel brought his cup with his juice in it and he wanted water. When we are at home, we washed out his cup in the kitchen sink before we give him water - hence the reason why we needed the kitchen sink. I thought it was very appropriate.

Insane or Brave?
Mrs. House Spouse here. I am taking a poll. Am I crazy or brave? Rusty was blessed by God with the opportunity to go to Little Prairie Bible Camp with the youth from our church to be a counselor. So how does correlate to my poll? Well, that means that I get all the children to myself until Saturday! I am so excited to see what way God will bless me this week. (PLEASE PRAY FOR MY SANITY!)
